Using images on Skroutz, BestPrice, Shopify and WooCommerce

Download the JPEG and upload it to your e-shop as the product image; marketplaces then pull it from your feed. White, square images are the safest choice for listings.

Marketplaces such as Skroutz, BestPrice, Shopflix and Public read product images from your e-shop's product feed. So the usual route is:

  1. Generate the image, usually White and Square for listing photos.
  2. Download the JPEG.
  3. Upload it as the product image in your e-shop (WooCommerce, OpenCart, Shopify, etc.), replacing the supplier image.
  4. The marketplaces pick up the new image the next time they read your feed.

Each marketplace sets its own rules for main images, such as background colour, minimum size or text on the image. Check their current guidelines before you replace your main photos. Lifestyle scenes usually work best as extra images rather than the main one.
