How are generations counted?

One generation makes one finished image. It counts when it starts (or joins a queue). Failed or cancelled-while-queued generations are given back; re-downloading is free.

A generation is one run that produces one finished image. Your plan gives you a number of them each month; the sidebar shows how many are left.
